The educational manual is intended for medical university students studying at the General Medicine Faculty within the discipline “Fundamentals Phthisiology.” The publication systematizes modern approaches to the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of respiratory tuberculosis in adults in accordance with the National Clinical Protocol of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Particular attention is paid to the clinical syndromes of pulmonary tuberculosis and the criteria for distinguishing it from other respiratory diseases based on clinic, laboratory, radiological and molecular genetic data.
The structure of the manual includes thematic chapters, self-assessment test tasks, and situational clinical cases aimed at developing clinical reasoning skills and mastering diagnostic algorithms.
