This textbook for the subject “The Latest History of Uzbekistan” highlights events in history, socio-economic and cultural processes, and other important events that played a role in gaining state independence, taking into account the recent past of Uzbekistan until the present. This textbook was designed for foreign students and provides events in history in an order consistent with scientifically based data, documents, charts, and maps. Besides reflecting historical events, the book also aids in building students' ability to analyze independently and critically, assess events, and give proper evaluation to historical events. The book was created keeping in mind current educational norms, along with several questions and tasks aimed at checking the knowledge of students. Through the creation of this textbook, an aim has been achieved of providing future historians of Uzbekistan a detailed knowledge about their historical past so that they may bring up the new generation as patriots
